🇬🇪 Liverpool FC signed goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili (23) from La Liga club Valencia CF for a package fee worth €37.5 million; details regarding the contract length of Mamardashvili’s contract at Liverpool remain undisclosed.
Note: On the following day, Mamardashvili returned to Valencia on a one-year loan; the Georgian international will integrate into the Liverpool squad in summer 2025 should all go according to plan at Liverpool.
🇪🇸 Arsenal FC signed midfielder Mikel Merino (28) from La Liga club Real Sociedad for package fee worth €37 million; Merino penned a four-year contract valid until June 2028.
🇹🇷 Brighton & Hove Albion signed defender Ferdi Kadioglu (24) for a package fee worth €35 million; Kadioglu penned a four-year contract valid until June 2028, with an additional option year.
🇧🇪 Chelsea FC signed goalkeeper Mike Penders (19) from Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk for approximately €20 million; Penders penned an eight-year contract valid until June 2032.
Note: On that same day, Penders returned to Genk on a one-year loan before joining the London-based squad in summer 2025.

🇮🇹 Liverpool signed forward/midfielder Federico Chiesa (26) for a package fee worth €15 million; Chiesa penned a four-year contract valid until June 2028.
Note: According to multiple reports, then-Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp offered to pay Juventus a whopping €100 million-fee for Chiesa after starring in Italy’s run to winning the 2020 UEFA European Championship held in summer 2021. Patience undoubtedly paid off…
🇪🇸 AFC Bournemouth signed goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga (29) on a one-year loan; details as to whether the deal contains a purchase option are not disclosed.
Note: Kepa will spend a second consecutive season on loan from Chelsea after spending the 2023-24 season at La Liga giants Real Madrid, with which he helped win La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.

🇺🇾 Manchester United signed midfielder Manuel Ugarte (23) from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for a package fee worth €60 million; Ugarte penned a five-year contract valid until June 2029, with an additional option year.
Note: Ugarte joined The Red Devils following a one-season stint at PSG, with which he joined from Primeira Liga club Sporting CP last summer for €60 million.
🏴 Newly promoted Southampton FC signed goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale (26) from Arsenal for a package fee worth approximately €28.5 million; Ramsdale penned a four-year contract valid until June 2028.
🏴 Chelsea FC signed forward Jadon Sancho (24) from rivals Manchester United on a one-year loan with an obligation to purchase for €25 million.
Note: The out-of-favour English international spent the second half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, for which he first played as a professional. He helped the Bundesliga club reach the UEFA Champions League final, in which they lost 2-0 against Real Madrid.
🇧🇷 Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) signed midfielder André (23) from Brazilian Série A club Fluminense for a package fee worth €25 million; details regarding André’s contract length remain undisclosed.
🇫🇷 Crystal Palace signed defender Maxence Lacroix (24) from Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg for €21 million; Lacroix penned a five-year contract valid until June 2029.
Note: Lacroix previously played for new Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner at Wolfsburg throughout the 2020-21 season.
🏴 Crystal Palace also acquired forward Eddie Nketiah (25) from London/local rivals Arsenal for an undisclosed amount; Nketiah penned a five-year contract valid until June 2029.
Note: Nketiah will be joining his third London-based club (youth teams included) after having also played for Chelsea’s youth teams from 2008 to 2015. This stint was followed by a two-year stint in Arsenal’s academy before signing a pro contract in summer 2017.
🏴 Wolves also signed goalkeeper Sam Johnstone from (31) from Crystal Palace for €12 million; Johnstone penned a four-year contract valid until June 2028.
🏴 Arsenal signed forward/midfielder Raheem Sterling (29) from local rivals Chelsea on a one-year loan without a purchase option.
Note: Sterling will now have donned the colours of England’s “big-six” teams, with the two other clubs being Manchester City and Liverpool.
🇪🇸 West Ham United signed midfielder Carlos Soler (27) on a one-year loan with a purchase option worth €23 million.
Note: Soler’s signing represents West Ham’s ninth and final purchase of the summer.
🇧🇷 Arsenal also signed goalkeeper Neto (35) from league rivals Bournemouth on a one-year loan; details as to whether the deal contains a purchase option are not disclosed.

🇫🇷 AS Roma signed midfielder Manu Koné (23) from Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach for a package fee worth €20 million; Koné penned a five-year contract valid until June 2029.
🏴 Napoli also acquired midfielder Billy Gilmour (23) from Brighton for a package fee worth €19 million; Gilmour penned a five-year contract valid until June 2029.
🇨🇮 Atalanta signed defender Odilon Kossounou (23) from reining Bundesliga winners Bayer Leverkusen on a one-year loan — accompanied by a €5-million loan fee — with a purchase option worth €25 million.
🇫🇷 Lazio acquired defender Samuel Gigot (30) from Olympique de Marseille for €3 million; Gigot penned a three-year contract valid until June 2027.
🏴 AC Milan signed defender Tammy Abraham (26) on a one-year loan — via a swap — from rivals AS Roma; 🇧🇪 in return, AS Roma acquired Alexis Saelemaekers (25) on a one-year loan. Is it unconfirmed whether either loan deal includes a purchase option.
🇮🇹 Cagliari signed midfielder Gianluca Gaetano (24) from league rivals Napoli on a one-year loan.
Note: The Naples-born midfielder returned to the Sardinia-based club after spending the second half of the 2023-24 season via a loan.

Note: The former German international played the last five seasons at Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, with which he experienced a second stint – the first spanned from January 2008 (on loan from Bayern Munich) to June 2015 – and helped the German club reach the 2023-24 UEFA Champions league final.

🇮🇹 Genoa signed forward Mario Balotelli (34) on a free transfer; Balotelli penned a one-year contract valid until June 2025.
Note: The former Italian international spent the 2023-24 season with Turkish Süper Lig club Adana Demirspor. The 34-year-old returns to Serie A for the first time in four years; his last stint in Italy occurred during the 2019-20 season with Brescia.

🇳🇱 RB Leipzig signed defender Lutsharel Geertruida (24) from Eredivisie club Feyenoord for a package fee worth €20 million; Geertruida penned a five-year contract valid until June 2029.
🇩🇪 Eintracht Frankfurt signed midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud (28) from Brighton on a free transfer; Dahoud penned a two-year contract valid until June 2026.

🇧🇪 LOSC Lille signed forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo (19) from Belgian Pro League club KAA Gent for €12 million; Fernandez-Pardo penned a five-year contract valid until June 2029.
🇰🇲 Lyon signed defender Warmed Omari (24) from league rivals Stade Rennais (Rennes) on a one-year loan with a purchase option worth €10 million.
🇵🇹 Rennes signed forward/midfielder Jota (25) from Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad €8 million; Jota penned a three-year contract valid until June 2027.
Note: Jota was part of last summer’s mass exodus of players from Europe’s top leagues to pursue their careers — while earning lucrative wages — in Saudi Arabia. The Portuguese represents one of several players already returning after a one-season stint in Saudi Arabia.
🇫🇷 Rennes also signed midfielder Naouirou Ahamada (22) from Crystal Palace on a one-year loan with a purchase option worth €8 million.
🇫🇷 Marseille signed forward Neal Maupay (28) from Everton on a one-year loan — accompanied by a €500,000 loan fee — with an obligation to purchase for approximately €4 million.
🇨🇮 Lyon signed forward Wilfried Zaha (31) from Turkish Süper Lig club Galatasaray one a one-year loan — accompanied by a €3-million loan fee — without a purchase option.
🇲🇱 Stade Brestois signed defender Massadio Haïdara (31) on a free transfer; Haïdara penned a one-year contract valid until June 2025.
The Malian international spent the last six season at RC Lens, having played a crucial role in Lens’s promotion to Ligue 1 in 2019-20 and their qualification to the UEFA Champions League in 2022-23, a third such feat in club history.
🇨🇮 AJ Auxerre signed midfielder Hamed Junior Traoré (24) from Bournemouth on a one-year loan without a purchase option.
Note: Traoré spent the second half of last season on loan at Napoli while under contract at Bournemouth.
🇳🇱 Lille also acquired defender Mitchel Bakker (24) from Atalanta on a one-year loan without a purchase option.
Note: Bakker returns to Ligue 1 since departing PSG in summer 2022. The Dutchman played two seasons at PSG, having been a member of the squad that won the final possible domestic quadruple — Ligue 1, Cope de France, Coupe de la Ligue and Trophée des Champions — in 2020.
🇷🇸 RC Strasbourg signed goalkeeper Djordje Petrović (24) from sister club Chelsea on a one-year loan without a purchase option.

🇫🇷 Lyon signed midfielder Jordan Veretout (31) from league rivals Olympique de Marseille for a package fee worth €7 million; Veretout penned a two-year contract valid until June 2026.
Note: The Frenchman’s transfer also contains a 25% sell-on clause should Lyon plan to sell the player in the near future. Lyon signed Veretout under an exception, known colloquially as a “joker” signing, whereby a club can make one signing after the transfer day deadline.

🇵🇹 LOSC Lille signed midfielder André Gomes (31) on a free transfer; Gomes penned a two-year contract valid until June 2026.
Note: The Portuguese international spent the last five seasons at Premier League (EPL) club Everton FC. Gomes returns to Lille after having spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Lille.

🇫🇷 Olympique de Marseille signed midfielder Adrien Rabiot (29) on a free transfer; Rabiot penned a two-year contract valid until June 2026.
Note: The French international arrives from Serie A club Juventus FC, with which he spent the last five seasons. Moreover, the 29-year-old began his professional career with Ligue 1 archrivals Paris Saint-Germain. He spent seven seasons at the capital club from 2012 to 2019, which included a half-year loan at fellow Ligue 1 club Toulouse FC in 2012-13.

🇧🇷 Real Betis signed forward Vitor Roque (19) from FC Barcelona on a one-year loan with a purchase option that would be accompanied with a buy-back option for Barcelona in summer 2026.
🇫🇷 Atlético Madrid signed defender Clément Langlet (29) from Barcelona on a one-year loan without a purchase option.
Note: Langlet signed a contract extension with Barcelona, which would keep him under contract at the Catalonia-based club until June 2027. Atlético will also pay a €3 million loan fee for the Frenchman.
🇨🇴 Rayo Vallecano signed midfielder James Rodríguez (33) on a free transfer following a contract expiration at Brazilian Série A club São Paulo; Rodríguez penned a one-year contract valid through June 2025.
Note: The Colombian international returned to a Madrid-based club ten years after signing with Real Madrid following the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Rodríguez, who spent six seasons — the final two of which were spent on separate one-year loans at Bundesliga and EPL clubs Bayern Munich and Everton FC, respectively — at Madrid, helped Los Blancos win three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles from 2016 to 2018 and one La Liga title in 2016-17.

🇦🇷 Real Betis signed midfielder Giovani Lo Celso (28) from EPL club Tottenham Hotspur for approximately €5 million; Lo Celso penned a four-year contract valid until June 2028.
Note: Lo Celso previously played for Betis during the 2018-19 season on loan from PSG, which ultimately sold the player to the Sevilla-based club for approximately €22 million.

Note: It is paramount to highlight that Haller overcame the odds of battling testicular cancer, returned to professional football and scored a brace in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (held in February 2024) to help Côte-d’Ivoire win that competition’s title.
🇳🇱 Girona FC signed forward Arnaut Danjuma (27) from fellow La Liga club Villarreal CF on a one-year loan; details as to whether the deal contains a purchase option are not disclosed.
🇪🇸 Villarreal CF signed defender Juan Bernat (31) from PSG on a one-year loan without a purchase option.
Note: The Spaniard’s contract at PSG ends in June 2025, which likely signifies that he already played his last match for PSG.
🇦🇷 Valencia CF signed midfielder Enzo Barrenechea (23) from EPL club Aston Villa on a one-year loan; details as to whether the deal contains a purchase option are not disclosed.
Note: The Argentinian arrived at Aston Villa from Juventus in a blockbuster deal this summer, which was centred around Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz being sent to the Serie A club.

🇷🇸 Fenerbahce signed midfielder Filip Kostić (31) from Juventus on a one-year loan with a purchase option; details regarding the amount associated with the purchase option are not disclosed.
🇨🇮 Göztepe SK signed forward David Datro Fofana (21) from EPL club Chelsea FC on a one-year loan without a purchase option.
